Dr Tuija Hirvikoski, Director at Laurea University of Applied Sciences, is responsible for the strategic development of Laurea’s research, development and innovation portfolio and stakeholder management. During her Vice-Presidency, Laurea became Finland’s most successful University of Applied Sciences receiving multiple awards.
She has held managerial positions at various Finnish higher education institutions and governmental institutions focusing on sustainable regional and societal development. Hirvikoski’s specific area of expertise is related to multi-stakeholder, user-centred innovation design and ecosystem development (LivingLabs). Tuija has been elected as ENoLL President and Chair of the Council and she has been awarded with Innovation Luminary Award on behalf of the Living Lab movement in 2016.

Kumardev is a highly regarded youth innovation leader, top-tier ICT industry professional, European Commission appointed expert and New York Times published opinion leader.
Kumardev leads EYIF’s broad community of young innovators, entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs and led Europe’s first-ever delegation of Young Innovators on a joint US State Department-EYIF program, the InnotourUSA. Kumardev is responsible for EYIF’s key stakeholder relationships with the European Commission, US State Department, World Economic Forum, European Investment Fund, and Fortune 500 companies.
Director-General of the Directorate General for Informatics, European Commission
Gertrud Ingestad was born in Sweden in 1958. She did her studies in languages and history and worked as a language teacher in Stockholm before joining the European Commission in 1995.
Her main domain in the Commission has been resources, with a specialisation on people-and organisation-related issues, in DGT and DG CONNECT, where she also started working with IT from a digitalisation perspective. In January 2014 she joined DG DIGIT as Director for Information Systems and Interoperability Solutions, now Digital Business Solutions. Since 16 April 2016 she is Director-General of the Directorate-General for Informatics.
Her main driving force is constant improvement in collaboration.

Gerard Corcoran is an Account Director in the Huawei Western Europe, Vertical Industry Solutions Group with responsibility for Smart and Safe Cities.
He has over 35 years experience in the ICT industry with special focus on New and Emerging Technologies applied to the development of Smart and Sustainable Cities. He has contributed to the development of industry solutions within Huawei and the broader Smart City Ecosystem including TMForum, GSMA, ITU and WBA.
He has successfully completed Communications, Networking, Consulting, Systems Integration, Managed Services and Outsourcing engagements in Europe, Asia and the US. Prior to joining Huawei in 2008 he had a senior solutions position in EDS (HP), A.T.Kearney and Cap Gemini.
